A good start to the hockey season for the Dryden ‘AA’ Bantam Paperkings
The Kings played a double header at the Eagle River Arena on the weekend.
Dryden lost its first game 3-1 to the Kenora Thistles, with Blair Bresson scoring the lone goal.
The Paperkings bounced back with an 8-5 win over Fort Frances.
Trey Palermo led the way with 4-goals and an assist.
Matthew Pitchenese scored two goals, while Matt Kellar and Zack Lugli added singles.
In ‘AA’ Peewee action, the Dryden Raleigh Falls Timber Paperkings defeated Fort Frances 5-3.
The Kings dropped a 6-2 decision to Sioux Lookout.
