$1.5 Million for Contact North

The Northern Ontario Distance Education Program has received
$1.5-million from the McGuinty Government.
Contact North will use the funds to expand to 20-new communities, and
enhance technology at 12 other sites in the Far North.
At a press conference in Sioux Lookout, Minister of Training Chris
Bentley said more than 30,000 will be able to access
University, College and High School programs without leaving their home
communities.
