The cause of a fire at a complex on Government Street in Dryden Wednesday remains under investigation.
First responders were dispatched to reports of an active smoke alarm around 7:30 p.m.
Initial crews on scene evacuated one person from the affected apartment and began putting out the fire.
The individual was transported to the hospital by KDSB Northwest EMS for treatment.
Dryden Fire Service cleared the scene around 9:00 p.m., and no other injuries were reported.
