Dryden Rotary presents Charity Foundation Grants

The Dryden Rotary Club has handed out more than $47,000 to eight organizations in the region.

The biggest grant goes to the Dryden Food Bank for $20,000.

The Ignace Nursery and EarlyOn Center received $7,500 followed by Community Support Center Northwest for their Christmas Cheer Fund for $5,000.

The money comes from Dryden Rotary’s Charity Foundation, which is supported by the Sioux Lookout Rotary Club.

Funds are generated through the radio bingo Rotary does each Thursday night on CKDR.

Other beneficiaries of the donation are:

Red Lake Chukuni Christmas Cheer Board $ 3,500

Rotary DHS Interact Club $ 3,500

Dryden Arena and Pool Holiday Programming $ 1,777

Dryden Youth Entertainment $ 3,000
