Geminids meteor shower to peak December 13 and 14

If you have some free time tonight, between all of your festive celebrations, look up.

The 2024 Geminids meteor shower peaks tonight and tomorrow night.

Environment and Climate Change Canada says it’s expected to be one of the most impressive celestial shows.

These meteors move slower than others, and with the full moon, you’ll need to position yourself to block the moon, to get a clear view of the sky.

The Old Farmers Almanac says you could see around 75 meteors per hour streak across the sky.
