Charges laid after rollover on Highway 11

A 47-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged in connection with a single vehicle rollover near Atikokan.

The accident took place around 11 pm last Wednesday night (December 11th) on Highway 11, about 10 kilometers east of the town.

The OPP say alcohol was a factor in the collision and a roadside breath test was administered.

The driver failed the test and was taken to the Atikokan detachment for further testing.

He has been charged with impaired driving, had his license suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
