Flood watch issued for Dryden areas and Rainy River district

The recent storm has led to a flood watch being issued for the Dryden region and Rainy River district.

The Ministry of Natural Resources says lake levels and flows are beginning to rise with the spring runoff.

The rain could add to potential flooding, especially in low-lying areas or where high-water levels are already been seen.

The watch is to remain in place until late Wednesday afternoon.

The Ministry says caution should especially be used when travelling on forest access roads.
