Drug bust on the Eagle Lake First Nation

A drug bust on the Eagle Lake First Nation has netted police with 156 grams of cocaine with a street value of about $30,000.

A search warrant was executed by Treaty Three Police officers this past Friday.

In addition to the cocaine, police also seized cells phones and other evidence of drug trafficking.

A 41-year-old woman faces a number of charges including drug trafficking, break and enter, unauthorized use of a computer and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

She has been released from custody and will appear in Dryden Court at a later date.
