The Ontario Forest Industries Association claims as many as 12 mills in
the province are at risk of closure putting 7,500 jobs in jeopardy.
Association president Jamie Lim says the forestry industry is 2nd only
to the automotive sector in its contributions to Ontario’s economy &
deserves financial aid.
She refused to identify which mills are threatened.
