Go Fund Me’s launched for Evan Armit

Financial help is being sought for the Armit family of Dryden.

Their son, Evan, suffers from an agressive form of cancer called metastatic melanoma.

Evan is a player for the Worchester State University Lancers.

The 21-year-old also played one year for the Kenora U18 Thistles and the Dryden Eagles high school hockey team.

He underwent his first surgery in June of 2024 and has since undergone several procedures.

A couple of Go Fund Me sites have been set up to help with costs of travel for his family and cancer treatments.

More information on the Go Fund Me can be found here.
