$15,000 is going to help the Highway 105 Tourism and Marketing Board pay for the costs of the 2017 Norseman Air Show in Red Lake.
The money comes from a Northern Ontario Heritage Fund grant.
Board Chairman Duane Riddell says this was the first time that they applied for funding.
Riddell notes they were turned down a couple of times and appealed, so they are happy to receive the money.
He also mentions if the funding had not come through, they would of had to do a lot more fundraising to make the upcoming 2018 Norseman Festival a success.
