Lest we Forget.
Today (Monday) is the day we honour those who fought for our freedom.
Remembrance Day ceremonies in Dryden start at 10:30am at the Royal Canadian Legion.
The march to the Cenotaph will follow, with the laying of wreaths at 11:15am.
There will be a free lunch at the Legion following the ceremony as well as a dinner at 6:00pm.
Tickets for the supper are available at the Legion.
A reminder all City departments including the Library, Museum and Pool and Recreation Centre are closed today.
Most retail shops and businesses won’t open until 12:30pm due to a municipal bylaw.
All Ontario government and federal government buildings will be closed and Canada Post will not be delivering mail.
