Kenora Has Its First Case Of COVID-19

The Northwestern Health Unit has confirmed one positive case of COVID-19 in the Kenora area.

The Health Unit says the virus was acquired from out of province travel and is self-isolating.

All contacts have been followed up with and are self-isolating.

There is one other new positive case of COVID-19 and that is in the Atikokan area.

There are now 13 cases in the Health Unit’s catchment area, which includes the one case reported from outside the region.
