A new positive case of COVID-19 is listed as being in the Northwestern Health Unit area, but the health unit is informing the public that the person lives in Southern Ontario.
The person also has not been in our region.
The reason the person is marked as from the area is due to outdated home address information.
The NWHU’s website reflects this information and all local cases are still currently resolved.
