The Magic Of Nature

I think you’ll agree that we live in the most beautiful part of the province. Sunset Country.

Seconds away, going in any direction, from the awesomeness and wonder of nature.

Those of us who have lived, worked and played in Sunset Country for some time are used to seeing nature in our backyards and through out the streets of our communities. It’s just something that we’ve expected and grown accustomed to.

And yet there are those moments that occur with nature here that will still amaze even the long term residents of the area.

Case in point this past Monday evening. 8 o’clock on Highway 622 between Dryden and Atikokan. Jennifer Ryan, her boyfriend and their dog witnessed a sight not many get to see in their lifetime. And they saw it for 45 minutes!

The good news for you is that they captured the experience on video and are letting us share here some of the moments that held their attention for so long.

Enjoy!

When not on-air Richard likes to cosplay as 'Spider-Dad McCarthy'. Listen weekday mornings from 6 to 10 on CKDR and on 'the web' at YourSunsetCountry.ca.
