Amazing Nature

Once in a while we will be treated in Sunset Country to a special rare moment by nature.

Such was the case yesterday for Amy Altenburg in Minnitaki.

Amy says she was “mowing the lawn at Eglis Sheep Farm and as I was driving around a Lilac bush I seen a strange looking bug. I got a closer look and took a video! It turns out to be a hummingbird moth! A very rare creature of Canada with transparent wings, the size of a bee, and a hummingbird tongue to drink nectar.”
