NAPS Seizes Meth In Fort Albany

A major drug bust in the remote northern community of Fort Albany First Nation.

Nishnawbe Aski Police carried out a number of search warrants Sunday as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police seized 3,279.5 Methamphetamine pills, 25.4 grams of Meth powder and $21,295 in cash.

The total street value of the drugs is roughly $155,861.

Police say 36-year-old Robin Sutherland, 32-year-old Margaret Williams and 28-year-old Sharon Knapaysweet all face charges.

All three are from Fort Albany.
