Although there is no official meeting or wind-up, the Ride For Memories continues into 2020.
The event will be held virtually this year on August 22nd.
The fundraising initiative from the Kenora-Rainy River Alzheimer Society will be collecting pledges from fundraising teams and selling shirts as well.
Executive Director Rossanna Tomashowski says they still need funding to help support not only people with dementia, but many elderly people in the community as well.
Tomashowski says some people may choose to ride on their own, but they are not officially holding one to ensure safety.
