New heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems have been
successfuly installed at 16-area schools.
Janet Wilkenson is the Director of Education for the Keewatin-Patricia
District School Board and says the energy retrofit initiative will save
the board $186,000 annually in utility and operational costs.
Additional work is still required at Dryden High School and Beaver Brae
and Wilkenson expects the upgrades to be finished by late January.
