Two people have been arrested on the Eabametoong First Nation for attempted murder.
Early Thursday morning, a woman was taken to the community nursing station following an assault.
She was flown out of the community for treatment.
Through investigation by the Nishnawbe Aski Nation Police arrested a 24 year old and 17 year old.
They have been charged with Attempting to Commit murder, Aggravated Assault and Possesion of a Weapon for a Dangerous purpose.
They were held in custody pending a bail hearing today.
