2 Beaches Closed Until Further Notice

You won’t be able to hit 2-area beaches to escape the summer heat.
The Northwestern Health Unit has closed Sandy Beach in Dryden and Kinsman Beach in Vermilion Bay because of high levels of E-Coli.
Officials say the beaches will be shut down until they get
2-consecutive samples with average e-coli counts.
The Health Unit says high winds and heavy rain are factors behind the
unusually high levels.
