A double dose of bad news for Dryden.
The City has learned it won’t be getting ‘Connecting Link’ funding to
reconstruct the Duke Street Overpass.
The City was hoping for $2.5-million and will now have to
revisit this years budget.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says the Province also rejected an application
to conduct a design of 5-laning Highway 17, a decision that automatically
raises the By-pass issue.
Krassilowsky plans to travel to Toronto to meet with Government reps on why both applications were turned down.
