2 NORWOSSA Reps Advance at OFSAA

The two NORWOSSA representatives at the All-Ontario Boys Volleyball Championship in Dryden have advanced to the second-round.

The hometown Eagles moved on after Kincardine upened Dr. J.F. Donevan of Oshawa in straight sets Friday.

The 2-1 Eagles will wrap up the round-robin Saturday in Eagle Lake at 9:15 against the Oshawa based team.

Dryden will then face Pool A winner John McGregor in the quarter final set for 12:30 at DHS.

The Beaver Brae Broncos completed the round-robin with a 4-0 record.

Kenora is still waiting for its first round opponent as is St. Christopher.

Chippewa High will face Eden in another quarter-final.

The remaining 2 playoff positions will be decided Saturday starting at 8:00 at Dryden High School, New Prospect and Eagle Lake.
