The Ontario Trillium Foundation has created a splash and has presented
the Dryden Dolphins Swim Club with over $20,000.
Coach Michelle Deconnick says the money will help the 25-member team.
The money will be used to purchase new platforms, lane ropes, a starting system and other
equipment.
Deconnick says their present-day equipment is from the 1970’s and
needed to be replaced due to safety issues.
Deconnick says the upgrades will also give them the opportunity to host
regional meets.
