2009 a Banner Year for Crimestoppers

Northwestern Ontario and Northern Minnesota Crimestoppers made some significant gains last year.
The program saw a 31% increase in the number of tips received.
Executive Director Doug Anderson says they also saw a 36% jump in the amount of tips paid out.
2009 saw a 92% jump in the amount of drugs seized.
Anderson says 2009 was a banner year.
