2010 Remuneration Report Released

The City of Dryden has released the remuneration and expense report for Mayor and Council for the 2010 calendar year.
Former Mayor Anne Krassilowsky received over $25,000 in compensation, nearly $18,000 in per diems and over $36,000 in travel expenses.
That included her work with the Police Services Board, Kenora District Services Board and Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association.
Councilor Mel Fisher was next at a total remuneration of over $17,000, about $3,000 of which came with the Health Unit.
Councilor Mike Wood came in at nearly $16,000 and Councilor Brian Collins at $14,000, which includes $2,300 for Police Board services.
Mayor Craig Nuttal has already tallied nearly $2,100 in Council and Police Board remuneration as well as a $200 per diem and $504 in City travel.
New Councilors Martin MacKinnon, Ken Moss and Mary Trist tallied $851 each in total compensation in 2010.
The new Mayor and Council were sworn in on December 7th.
The report is mandated under the Ontario Municipal Act.
