From Anna English comes this great shot of Bert Larson – Born 1923 and joined the army during the Second World War.
Bert served with the 28th Company of The Canadian Forestry Corps in France, Belgium and Holland.
He was a member of the Oxdrift Legion Branch #41 for 55+ years.
Bert passed away February 12, 2014 in Dryden and his ashes were laid to rest at the Oxdrift cemetery following the Remembrance Day Service at the Oxdrift Cenotaph November 11, 2014
