Miners Bounce Back From Opening Season Loss

The Red Lake Miners responded from a season opening loss in a big way last night.

The Miners capitalized on Ice Dogs penalties and scored four power play goals in an 7-3 win in Cochenour.

It was a balanced attack for Red Lake with Jordan Baranesky, Sean Gula, Nic Bolin, Rylin Philpott-Way, Mario DeCapite, Ethan Pool and Ryland Strauss finding the back of the net.

Nolan Marshall, Cameron Ware and Derek Koivisto replied for Dryden GM.

Dylan Barton made 32 saves for the win.
