Fentanyl And Cash Seized From Fort Frances Home

Three people have been arrested following a drug bust in Fort Frances.

Provincial Police searched an Eighth Street East home on New Years Eve and seized three grams of fentanyl and more than $13,000 cash.

The street value of the drugs is an estimated $2,400.

OPP say one person was caught with a dangerous weapon.

Two people from Fort Frances and one man from Etibicoke face multiple charges.

Bryant ACHEAMPONG (27) of Etibicoke is charged with:
-Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
-Possession of property obtained by crime – under $5000.00;
-Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – over $5000.00

Scott Foster (51) of Fort Frances is charged with:
-Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
-3 counts of fail to comply with release order;
-Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
-Possession of property obtained by crime – under $5000.00;
-Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – over $5000.00

Ashley GAUTHIER (30) of Fort Frances is charged with:
-Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
-Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – over $5000.00
