One person sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries in a three vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Egli’s Sheep Farm Sunday.
Provincial Police say a westbound transport collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer unit.
A third transport tried to avoid the wreckage but was unable to.
All three drivers were injured and one was taken to hospital in Thunder Bay for treatment.
OPP say road conditions were poor at the time but police continue to investigate.
The crash closed the Trans-Canada for about five hours in the middle of the day.
