Ice Shacks To Be Removed From Landing By Monday

We’re near the end of the ice fishing season and the City of Dryden is reminding residents to move their shacks.

Ice shacks or other ice fishing materials abandoned on the south end of Van Horne Avenue or on City property near Government Dock must be removed before Monday, March 22.

Shacks or items left at that location on Monday will be removed and discarded by the City.

The City says they recognize the importance of this winter activity in our community and appreciates owners moving their ice shacks away from the landing once pulled off the lake.
