OPP In Dryden/Ignace Respond To 86 Calls For Service

Provincial Police in the Dryden and Ignace areas responded to 86 calls for service last week.

Twenty-two charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code.

Traffic complaints led call volumes with 16, followed by nine calls for police assistance and seven domestic incidents.

The OPP is reminding the public about their online reporting system as an alternative to having an officer attend a scene for a minor incident.

The applicable calls for service which fall within the CSR online reporting parameters include:
Theft Under $5000
Mischief / Damage to Property Under $5000
Mischief / Damage to Vehicle Under $5000
Theft from Vehicle
Lost / Missing Property Under $5000
Stolen License Plates
Driving Complaints
