Sioux Lookout Residents Urged To Follow Restrictions

Municipal officials in Sioux Lookout are urging residents to follow stay-at-home orders.

There have been recent reports of people violating provincial restrictions by using outdoor facilities.

They add some vandalism has also occurred.

Additional security cameras have been installed around municipal properties.

Officials stress COVID-19 isn’t just a southern Ontario problem and the virus is prevalent in the Sioux Lookout area.

The Sioux Lookout Health Hub encompasses a large area but lead the way in our region with 35 active cases.

It’s not known how many are in the community.

-Bocce Courts
