COVID Numbers Dropping In North

Only one new COVID positive in the area Monday.

It once again comes from the Rainy River District.

That region now accounts for six of the seven active cases.

The other comes from the Kenora Health Hub, however officials note the case is currently outside of the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area

Hospitalizations have dropped from three to two and 91,173 vaccination doses have been administered.

The numbers are also dropping in the Thunder Bay area with two new cases and nine actives.

Ontario saw its lowest total since September 13 with 210 cases.

There were 3 COVID-related deaths.
