A mother and son from Osnaburgh First Nation have a few more dollars to celebrate summer.
Josie and Christopher Masakeyash are $250,000 richer after winning the Instant Hit It Big lotto game.
The two say they purchased the ticket together because it was a new game.
Josie says, “When we saw the matching numbers, my heart was pounding.”
Christopher adds, “I’m so happy. Something like this never happens!”
They plan to purchase a truck and make some investments with their winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Casuals Convenience Store on Patricia Avenue in Pickle Lake.
