23rd Annual Blueberry Festival

Blueberry Bert is going disco and is “Staying Alive in 2005”.
That is the theme for the 23rd Annual Blueberry Festival in Sioux
Lookout.
The 10-day event starts Friday and Organizer Mark Kateler says the community will be bustling with activity with 109 events planned.
Opening ceremonies start at 4:00 Friday afternoon with children’s
activities, local entertainment and the presentation of the Jack MacKenzie Volunteer Award.
Among the activities this year, a fundraiser for the skateboard park, sporting events and kids games.
