A return to competitive racing in northwestern Ontario.
St. Thomas Aquinas High School held their annual Fall Classic Cross Country Run Tuesday at Mount Evergreen Ski Hill in Kenora.
Over 80 students from across the region in Grades 7 to 12 participated.
Dryden’s Cole Mitchell took home Silver in the Junior Boys, 5-kilometre race.
Hudson Antoine of the Eagles finished fifth.
In the Senior Girls race, Red Lake’s Kendall Orwald crossed the finish line in fifth place.
The next event is in Dryden with the Turkey Trot race on October 7.
