The Kenora District Services Board is developing a housing strategy for the region.
An open house will be held today (Tuesday) in Red Lake at the Super 8 Conference Room from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm to get some feedback on the plan.
A second session is taking place at the Ear Falls Recreation Centre from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
There is also a survey to gather information from local residents about what should be contained in the strategy.
The plan will consist of three components: a Housing Needs Assessment; Housing Demand Study; and information about vacant lands in various communities.
