Fort Frances Councillor Doug Judson and Mayor June Caul are in court Monday.
Judson is accusing the Mayor of abusing her powers.
He first filed court action in early September.
Judson alleges Caul acted beyond her lawful authority with town advisors and consultants, took steps to usurp and undermine town staff and management, and obstructed his abilities to perform his duties.
In a statement, Judson says it relates to incidents that have occurred over several months, including the Mayor claiming to have been appointed or was acting as Chief Administrative Officer.
The allegations have not yet been proven in court.
Today’s appearance is only to schedule the matter.
