Percival Homes Brannan

Percival Homes Brannan was born in Fort Frances.

Enlisted in Winnipeg with the Lord Strathcona Horse Regiment.

Served in Canada, the UK, the Mediterranean and Europe. A fully trained Trooper, driver and mechanic, he drove tanks and trucks.

Spent 51 months overseas.

Wounded in Italy in February 1944, promoted to Sergeant the same year.

On VE day, he was in service in Holland.

At wars end, he returned home to family and friends in Sioux Lookout.

He died March 30 1970
