COVID Numbers Soar Across Ontario

COVID numbers are stagnant in northwestern Ontario but it’s a different story in other parts of the province.

There remains one active case in the Dryden/Red Lake reporting area and 13 in the Thunder Bay District.

Health officials are reporting an outbreak at St. Martin Elementary School with five positives.

Ontario recorded its highest case count Thursday since September 24.

There were 711 new positives

Reports show 322 were unvaccinated people, 28 were partially vaccinated, 314 were fully vaccinated and for 47 people the vaccination status was unknown.

There were 5 more COVID-related deaths.
