Dryden’s Jarett Hicks Headed To National Championship

A history making win for Dryden’s Jarett Hicks.

The former Eagles High School standout is headed to the Canadian Junior Football League championship game following a memorable win by his London Beefeaters.

The Beefeaters booked their ticket to the final with a dramatic 15-14 win over the St. Clair Fratmen in the Ontario Conference title game.

London was down 14-0 with 1:59 left in the game.

They will now play in and host their first ever Canadian Bowl on December 4 when they welcome the Langley Rams.

Hicks plays defensive back and also returns punts and kicks.

During the regular season, Hicks played in six games with London.

He recorded 6 tackles and 2 assists.

Hicks added a deflection and a 20 yard interception return.

He returned one kick-off 16 yards and had three punt returns for a total of 36 yards.
