The Red Lake Miners offence could do little wrong Saturday night in a 12-2 thrashing over the hometown Wisconsin Lumberjacks Saturday night.
The Miners would score two times in the first, six in the second and four in the final frame for the easy victory.
Leading the way was Ryan Hunter with 3 goals and 2 assists, while Brady Harroun and Nic Bolin also recorded hat tricks.
Jordan Baranesky potted two and Jake Parker added a single.
Red Lake outshot Wisconsin 67-25.
Kiev Kineshanko earned the victory for the Miners.
The rematch is Sunday night at 7:00.
