The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting a number of new COVID cases but several others have been resolved.
There have been 14 new cases since the last report Friday.
Seven come from the District of Rainy River, with 3 in the Dryden/Red Lake reporting area, 3 in the Kenora region and 1 in Sioux Lookout.
However, the active case count only stands at 17.
Health officials in Thunder Bay are reporting 22 new cases but the active count is down to 71.
There were 1,536 in Ontario today and the test positivity rate was 5.5 per cent, the highest its been since May 25.
The province says 601 were found in those who are unvaccinated, and 33 were found in partially vaccinated individuals.
The vaccination status of the remaining 93 cases is unknown.
There was one more COVID-related death.
