Local sports for Friday, March 3rd

The NorWOSSA hockey finals continue today.

Up first is game two of the boys gold medal series with the Fort Frances Muskies against Beaver Brae in Kenora.

The Muskies won game one Wednesday night in the best-of-three series.

Game time this afternoon is 1:30.

The St. Thomas Aquinas girls hockey team is also trying to stave off elimination.

The Saints host game two tonight against the Dryden Eagles trailing the finals one game to none.

Game time is 5:30 at the Kenora Rec. Center.

 

In the SIJHL, the Sioux Lookout Bombers doubled up the Wisconsin Lumberjacks 4-2.

Tonight the Lumberjacks will move down Highway 72 to take on the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and the Bombers host the Kam River Fighting Walleye.
