Name Of Fourth Victim In Plane Crash Released

The name of the fourth victim of a plane crash between Sioux Lookout and Ignace has been released.

He has been identified as 27-year-old Hankun Hong of Richmond, British Columbia.

The small aircraft went down sometime between April 29 and the 30th killing all four occupants, including the pilot 26-year-old Abhinav Handa of Richmond.

The wreckage was located around 7:45 on the Saturday morning.

One of the victims was 36-year-old Gene Lahrkamp of Kincardine, Ontario on the run from the Royal Thailand Police for the February 4 gangland-style murder of a former B.C. gangster.

Reports say another individual on the plane, 37-year-old Duncan Bailey of Kamloops, B.C., also had gang ties and was an active drug dealer and was out on bail.

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash and authorities are still trying to piece together the connections to the victims.
