Today (Thursday) marks National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people in Canada, also known as Red Dress Day.
The Red Lake Friendship Centre is hosting a MMIWG Walk at 2:00 pm
The walk will start at the Red Lake OPP Station and end at Centennial Park.
There will be drumming and music after the event and Mayor Fred Mota is expected to attend and speak.
The event is open to the public.
