Ontario bans TikTok App on government-owned devices

Ontario is the latest province to ban the use of the TikTok app on government-owned phones and devices.

The move comes a week after the federal government made a similar move.

The ban also includes all privately owned phones by Conservative caucus members.

Ontario is the last province to announce the ban.

China has a ownership stake in the parent company of TikTok.

The province has also indicated that all Ontario advertising campaigns are being removed from TikTok.
