Provincial Police have laid charges in relation to a death of a Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation resident.
OPP say 56 year old Gregory George died in hospital after being seriously injured during a violent home invasion in the community on May 13.
A 14 year old from Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation was arrested May 27 and has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
· Break and Enter contrary to sec. 348(1)(b)
· Aggravated Assault contrary to sec. 268
The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing and is on a number of conditions.
The young person is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on July 12.
