You soon won’t be able to collect points for your next flight when shopping at Sobey stores including Safeway.
The grocer giant Empire, is getting set to drop Air Miles in exchange for a new rewards program.
They are teaming up with Scene+, which is run by Cineplex and Scotiabank.
It means cardholders can rack up points going to the movies and use them later to buy groceries, and vice versa.
The Scene+ will start in Atlantic Canada later this year and will be expanded across the country in 2023.
You’ll be able to keep collecting Air Miles until the new program rolls out.
